About Landwirt

Let me introduce you to Landwirt Restaurant, a restaurant in Berlin that feels grounded, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious from the moment you hear about it. Sitting on Regensburger Str. 7 in the 10777 area of the city, Landwirt fits naturally into its neighborhood, drawing in locals and curious visitors who appreciate food served giving off comfort without trying too hard. When I talk about Landwirt, I usually mention how easy it is to enjoy, because the atmosphere leans relaxed while still feeling like a proper restaurant where people come to eat well and linger a bit. Whether you prefer settling into a cozy table indoors or grabbing a seat outside when the weather behaves, the space adapts smoothly to different moods and plans. The service options are equally flexible, with dine-in always feeling personal and delivery making it simple to enjoy the same experience at home. Drinks play a quiet but important role here, since Landwirt offers a thoughtful selection of alcohol that includes beer and wine, perfect for pairing with a laid-back meal or easing into the evening. What I find appealing is how nothing feels forced; instead, everything flows together naturally, from the address that’s easy to reach to the way the restaurant welcomes different types of guests throughout the day. Landwirt works well for casual meetups, spontaneous dinners, or those moments when you just want a familiar spot that delivers consistency. I often describe it as a place where conversation, food, and atmosphere balance each other, creating a setting that feels both local and approachable. If you’re exploring Berlin and want a restaurant that keeps things honest, comfortable, and enjoyable, Landwirt quietly stands out without demanding the spotlight. I like how it slips easily into everyday routines while still feeling special enough for small celebrations or relaxed evenings fueled by good drinks and easy conversation.

Perfectly careful cooking and wonderfully accurate wine wisdom. Second time here. Very hopeful it becomes a regular thing. Quiet, careful, passionate restauranteurs. Everything thing is just right. Thank you. I look forward to more.

Amazing experience! We went in there with a little group and we had such a great time. We left the owner pick the menu for us and beautifully paired the wine with it. That’s the perfect food experience if you want to be taken in charge by the staff. Personally, when I travel, it’s the kind of little gem I am looking for and I was lucky enough to know somebody from Germany who could make me discover this great & friendly place.

One of the best dining experiences of my life! The service was so welcoming. We don’t speak German yet we were welcomed. The patio is beautiful. Amazing options on the menu. We can’t wait to return.

If you look for great authentic food, very high class, this is for you. Incredible quality and, yes the wine selection is huge. In one word, the food is "Ehrlich" (honest).

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He translated the menu for us and explained about some of the different dishes, which was all home cooked traditional German food. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

What a gem! Here for a week of work and the understated atmosphere and friendly service made it feel more as though I was at a friend’s house than a restaurant, just the balm my soul needed. The proprietor/chef is quite friendly and funny, though my choice to go with two apps instead of a true meal threw him off a bit, he solved by bringing some soup for my dining companion as well. The soup was thin in body but rich in flavor and the homemade ice cream set off the chocolate cake perfectly. The wine list is extensive and dessert is a must— the delicate jiggle of the panna cotta is everything— but leave your American Express at home

Wonderful local spot, no English menu, but Google/Apple translate app are your friends, and the proprietor/server speak English. I had the wiener schnitzel and my partner had the Koningsberger Klopse (a type of meat ball) both with delicious warm German potato salad (nice and vinegary). Then we shared the apple streudel and ice cream. We loved it all. Off the tourist path and happy to have you.
